Got My Flowmasters On
I just got home from having dual 2 chamber 40 Series Flowmasters installed on my Lightning. Boy does it sound boss. I got exactly the sound I was looking for. I was torn for weeks between the 40 and the 50 series, but I really like these ones I bought. They really make the truck sound like a musclecar. I don't mind the noise. If I wanted something quiet, I would have bought a luxury sedan.
I would recommed these mufflers to anyone that wants a musclecar sound. As far as the interior noise, I don't really notice it that much. I guess because I've always had musclecars and I like to hear how the engine is running. Some people might call it interior resonance or noise, but to me it's nothing but beautiful music.

I would recommed these mufflers to anyone that wants a musclecar sound. As far as the interior noise, I don't really notice it that much. I bought the Flowmasters from a local speed shop and then had a local muffler shop fabricate the pipes from the mufflers to the tips. It really looks pretty slick and like I said before, the sound is awesome. If you have a local muffler shop that is a Flowmaster dealer, then go that route. I do not have one. But, they had no trouble installing them for me.
