No LIghtning fest updates?

What gives? Was it a rain out or something?

Did JL ever make his 8 second pass?

Did Charlie make a pass?

Were there any turbo L's besides Franks running?

Lets here some updates!

In order....
1 Rained most of the day Friday...cleared up and the program went on as planned from there.

2 No....he was running mid to low tens

2 Can't remember...I was still wasted from the night before.

3 I believe Frank was the only one to run a turbo Gen 2 I know he was running low elevens...I am not sure if he pulled off any tens.

Frank went 10.99@125 Friday Night. And backed that up with a handful of 11.0s even one of them at 128mph

LFest is put on by the NLOC...and there are several threads over there that are nothing but updates on both the Gen I and Gen II forums with more talk in the local chapter forums.

Justin95L from OKLAHOMA!

Congrats man! There were a lot of supporters on many car boards, saying you were gonna put JL in his place.

Good job!

I'd be pissed if I put that much money into my truck and was only running mid 10s.

Especially since some people DRIVE to the track with the ac on, run those times, then DRIVE home! Haha, and now people are getting close to that with stock blocks! hahaha

Exactly.. I'll be there eventually, and I'll even offer to tow the JL tuned truck home when it doesn't make it down the track... just because I'm a nice person. If I'm feeling really nice, I'll tow it to JDM for a real tune....and even pay for it.
