Exclamation Lightning owners, please take the time to read this.

I thought that this might interest you guys, please take a look and tell me what you think. I'm tryin hard to defend the Lightning, and Fords in general. The topic is long but fun to read: http://www.fordvschevy.com/ubb/Forum29/HTML/000121.html

JHC, where do these clowns come from?

I have almost lost, or stayed even with several vehicles and posted such here much to my embarrasment and been straight honest about it. Beat a few too, but how in the world can this Rice Rocket guy continue to insist on 13s with 180 HP in a fairly heavy sports coupe.

I only hope I can run in the low 13s with Sal's chip/intake system and the full Bassani exhaust on the stock tires and that combination should be giving me around 360 to 370 at the rear wheels. I already get 330 with a Superchip and stock intake and exhaust on a supposedly accurate chassis dyno.

Thanks for trying to call this guy out, Patrick.

hey mudder, you beat me to it, I was going to re-post that link to let the Lightning owners re-read this topic that I had posted a little while back. At the last time I told the Lightning owners there were only like 20-30 posts on it. But since it has almost hit 200 I figured that they might want to re-read it again. (funny i was JUST about to tell everyone to go read it but I thought I would read what your "topic" was)

Yoda,

Yeah I figured I'd let these guys know what was goin on, figured they would get a kick out of it. That guy lives close to me, I'm gonna try real hard to get him to come to the next rally we have in Dallas. I know that Sixpipes, and Wyldman can shut him down. Sure is a funny topic, and one of the longest I've ever seen. That Classic99 guy started to jump on me and my truck. Well hell, it's a 4x4, can't be racin that. They just can't handle the fact that LIGHTNINGS RULE! Take care bud.

Mudder,
You did a great job representing us with the limited mentality you were arguing with.
Keep it up.

That Z guy must be a little kid that has nothing better to do than start crap by using daddys computer. It amazes me how he thinks a 180 hp Z can perform the way he says. I've got a 92 supra turbo (230 hp), in stock form it ran in the 16 second bracket (granted that was on a 90 degree summer night, but still). The best run I ever made w/that car was a 14.7, but that was with an HKS exhaust, both catalytic converters pulled out (yes, there were 2 in series in the single exhaust), a variable boost controller (which increased my boost from 6 psi to 11.5 psi), and an HKS filter, with these mods, HKS rated the car at 300 hp. This litte kid needs to get a job, save up some money and go buy a real car!

Ok this is just a classic, this guy never took the chance to run a stock Cobra. His post was "if its stock then you might not like the outcome" !! Only on his favor. I do know where he so called run his ricer. Its here in Dallas around the Royal area. I'm still looking for him, so far he will not put his money where his mouth is! He would not even have a chance against my old stang it too ran the Eaton roots blower. ITS TIME FOR HIM TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP!! I do know he is a young kid though.

Man, when someone posts crap like that, just ignore them, let the thread die. When they're whacked like that it's pointless.

I wrote a little rap for that Z boy. It's gotten out of hand after he talked about those kids that died in the bon fire.
