Post Supercharger speed

In the Jan. issue of Car & Driver they were testing the Jaguar XKR with the blown engine. Same S/C as used on the L's, the difference is that the Jag's has a l.9:1 ratio and ours have a 2.1:1. The Jag engine rev's to 6200 rpm, which means the blower is turning 11,780. With the 5250 rpm that our engines turn, our blowers are only turning 11,025 rpm. By bumping our max rpm to 5600 we could get the same blower speed, and all things being equal(which they never are) the increased boost that comes with it. C & D claimed ll.6 psi.
Will Sal's chip or SuperChips increase engine speed to this level?

This is a interesting question...

Makes me wonder, if the "Downs Ford" pulley pumps up our ratio to 2.2:1 (just a guess0 then our blower would still only be at 11550 rpm, still less than the Jag, or maybe 2.3, 12075 RPM, just a little over the JAG. Seems like if the Jag blower is the same then we should be able to bumb our blowers up to at least the same RPM. Now whats it going to do to the rest of the engine and trans? Besides go faster that is?

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown. 99 Lightning, the best of both worlds!
