I installed a Steigemeyer Ported eaton this summer and have been very happy with the results.
before 380 hp 410tq (had exhaust, CAI, and 4lb lower, and old SCT chip)
after 430 hp 500tq (same as above with alky injection, 8lb lower)
temp was 102 degree in the cell with about 80 percent humidity

numbers are from a dynojet

ran 13.1's at the track had no off the line traciton ( have traction bars but no slicks)

Also,
I have a rattle noise from the nose drive on the blower now was just wondering if this was common or if my bearings are going out. I also had the rotors stripped all looked great but makes alot of noise cold and I have confirmed that it is from the nose unit on the supercharger.

Dave you upped your boost 4 pounds and went alky. I'd almost expect you to make those numbers without the port..
Just my .02 cents.

Well tonight with the 70 degree temps, I saw 15-16 pounds of boost from the new blower. Just thought I would throw that in. Going tomorrow for new times with this awesome 70 degree weather. Hopefull for new outcomes.

Rob,

Take a look at the new numbers!! The SAE conversion had me at 443 and 523TQ. The STD was 451 and 533TQ. I will go with the STD numbers!!

I have a dyno sheet of the run in my other post "2nd run on the ported blower"

Rob,

Here is my set up( No traction bars and hard Nitto 404's. I did run the 13.1 on the 404's too. (RWHP 383 and 486TQ) Do you think I can make a 12 sec pass with out spinning too much? If so what are your recommendations on the "how too" now with the 451 and 533TQ

Thanks

I think you have cold air down there in TX right now, you could pull 12's with your old set up!! You're looking at some serious 12's with your current set up and cold air!!

Power: 383.32 and 486 TQ

Add the ported blower and a 90MM MAF plus super tank (which was hot from the 40 minute drive to the dyno) and a new RWTD tune

Results: Run conditions 90 degrees, 28.66 in-HG, 52% humidity.

Power: 421 and 489 TQ

So I gained almost 40RWHP. The tuner said if I had tested with the same conditions as my first dyno..that I would have probably put down 430 and 505-510TQ.

What do you guys think? Hopefuly good for 12's )

Everytime I see a before and after comparison, the mods have been changed. (pullies, tune...)

Has anyone ever done the port on a bone stock truck and not touched anything to show the actual gains of just the port?

yeah

Most trucks need to be retuned after a port. On average, the port will lean the a/f out almost a full point. Especially these awsome new ports. Thinking of selling my blower (only 20k miles on it) for a newer ported.

I went from a 11.2 a/f to a 12.1 with my port. Same pulley combo.
