Results in on the ported Steige blower **Dynoed this morning***

Ok guys,

I dynoed last year with:4# lower, CAI, and RWTD tune.

Results: Run conditions 77 degrees, 29.47 in-HG, 35% humidity, STD 1.03

Power: 383.32 and 486 TQ

Add the ported blower and a 90MM MAF plus super tank (which was hot from the 40 minute drive to the dyno) and a new RWTD tune

Results: Run conditions 90 degrees, 28.66 in-HG, 52% humidity.

Power: 421 and 489 TQ

So I gained almost 40RWHP. The tuner said if I had tested with the same conditions as my first dyno..that I would have probably put down 430 and 505-510TQ.

What do you guys think? Hopefuly good for 12's )

I think you gained A LOT of HP, very nice results, CONGRATS
Are they SAE, STD, or Uncorrected numbers ???

BTW
If you want to see some TQ, BOOST THAT SOB ANOTHER 4lbs

My ported Eaton (WASP, done by Wes), put down 442/573 SAE
77.6 degree's 63% humidity, I have NO cooling mods, not a one. 8lb Lower, 2.7 Upper.
The Tq is all in the Pulley's

And HELL YA you'll run a 12, WOO HOO CONGRATS

made almost exactly the same numbers

ran 12.54 @ 10? and i was off the gas because the motor blew on that run.

i think i had a 12.25-12.4 if it was not for the motor farting

If your using SAE numbers there will be NO increase
If your using STD or un-corrected there will be

Either way, great results, CONGRATS

Rob,

I was using STD numbers. Just talked to the owner of the dyno and I'm going to do another run Friday (temps supposed to be 15 degrees cooler) and I will post up new numbers.

my motor blew because I screwed up.....i had a race program and had too much 93 in my tank when i added the race fuel so i think that is what made it melt.

that's about right.

Some people actually loss a little torque, but most saw very little increase.
The HP increase looks about right!

numbers

your first numbers with the seemed a little low to begin with, so I think the gains are gonna be a little more on the high side.

Your torque still seems low.

Wasp Port and 4lb lower I made 437/532 with just chip/filter/pulley/efan/tb/full exhaust, hitting around 14psi .

I just added a 6lb lower and between the seat of the pants, and cutting almost a full tenth off my 60 consistantly from just the pulley change...I know I picked up some serious low end power. I would say I should be around the 445/550 mark.

I would say your tuner is right on the money with the projected stats in cooler weather.

Dynos are great tools but numbers aren't everything. Track numbers do the talking.

I guess with and E-fan, full exhaust, and SB TB I would add a little more than what I did today. I'm not a dyno queen, but would love to have the highest numbers to put in my poster that I display at car shows) Like I said earlier..going back this Friday for another run and then I will stone those numbers!! (no more mods for now$$$$$)
