New spacer mod

I just got a spacer from Reichard Racing to test. I am too lazy to do a same day back to back test, so take the results as you will. I Was on the dyno 1 month ago without it on a muggy rainy day and put down 529 hp and 612 tq. on my 15* street tune. I was just on the dyno again yesterday on a muggy rainy day again and put down 550hp and 633tq on the exact same 15* street tune. I'm not big on dyno comparisons but I know some people wanted to see the results. I ran 11.19 @ 120 a couple weeks ago before I lifted my heads, and will be going to MIR this weekend to see if I can get into the 10's. Here's the pic again of the spacer installed.

It raises the intercooler up in the lower intake to make the air flow easier up into the intake runners. I had to clearence the firewall with my JLP upper and KB, but with an Eaton I don't think you would need to. It is about a 1/2" thick.

I'm not sure, my friend is sponsored by him and gave it to me. It may be on his web site. He has been making them for the Cobra's for awhile. It is made from Billet aluminum and was a perfect fit.

do you have the dyno sheets from both runs, I'd like to see them, if not the location,dates, and times of the dynos would work, I would just like to calculate to see the DA's for both days.

The after dyno was yesterday in Norfolk, VA and the before dyno was at the same location on Aug 25th. Both were around 9am. Let me know what you find.

It wouldn't have cleared my hood if it were any thicker. I already had to route the widshield washer hose inside the hood support to clear the intake. I'm not sure how much the phenolic material would help, since our blowers get just as hot as our motors. So heat is being generated on both sides of the spacer anyway.

here's the results for DA
yesterday 9am
Temp 75
Dew pt 73
Humity 94
Bp 29.71

DA= 1434
couldn't figure the real altitude for your location so I put 300 AGL

Aug 25th 9am
Temp 75.9
Dew pt 69.4
Humiduty 69
Bp 30.22

DA= 2,000

so you definately had better weather conditions the first time.

Thanks for the links. With those conditions I guess it did even better than I thought. The altitude is right at sea level by the way.

Sounds like an excellent mod(a little pricey for me). But what did you do about the EGR set, were you able to put it back one or did you have to modify it? If so, how? Looks like some easy horsepower.

The egr went on easier than I thought it would. Just had to start it on the header, then loosen the valve on the intake to let it lean down and start it there then tighten the valve back down on the intake.
