I have ordered a hood from Keystone. 'Cobra Style' with functional ram air.

I've been sceptical of ram air hoods. They are functional in the sense that air entering the inlet (that sticks through the hood) directly into the airbox. However, the inlet needs to be 3-4" above the hood surface out of the airflow boundary layer. Air flow will actually seperate off the hood a right over the ram air inlet, the inlet isn't high enough. Just my $0.02.

Ram Air?

I've got a shaker hood. I question how much Ram effect goes into it, but at a standstill, I can feel the air being sucked into the shaker. At the very worst, it's colder air.

Coldie

PS: Plus it looks cool. =)
