Make room in 10 second club!!!
Everyone,
I just got a call from Jim @ JDM, hes at the Fords @ Englishtown event running my truck. Long story short, we made a few changes over the last 2 months and its legal and making some more power .
Jim reports first run was 10.7x @ 125.x with a 1.6x 60'.
The above run is with 20's in the front and a reported pretty bad head wind. Who knows what would happen with better 60, front skinnies and no head wind.. WoooHooo
As a side note, maybe J3 can post some pics for us, but the truck makes 621 rwhp on the street side (KB 3.10 upper 8# lower) and 655rwhp on the race side (KB 2.8 upper and 8# lower).
Jims got all the details.

Update:
Jim just called. 2nd pass was a 10.7x too. Basically same stats.
He did tell me that the scales at ETown put the truck with him in it at 47xx pounds. Also, front sway bar is still on the truck too.
There is rumor of a video next to Vinny. Hopefully J3 gets that up and going later tonight.

TrackBeast Its pretty impressive considering that JLP's highly modified (tub, tube framed, lightweight) has trouble breaking into the 10's as per the numbers at Lightning Fest.

Very Nice !!!
Nice going Brian and JDM. I saw your truck at JDM's shop Sat. and I love your paint scheme. Not only does it look great, but it's fast, too fast Dude. My best is a 10.75 and now you're stepping on my toes, J/K. Anyway, keep the shiny side up, hope to see you at JDM Day.

Congrats Brian
Brians truck made in the 650's HP on the dyno with 17 psi from the KB. I scalled the truck in at Etown it weighed 4762lbs! Which I though was heavy untill Vinnie weighed in behind me at damn near 4900lbs! Ill be adding an extra 2 psi of boost to Brians truck for JDM day. Today wasnt an Ideal track day, humidity was up and there was a strong head wind. I think when all is said and done we should see 10.50's out of Brians truck at 4762lbs. Which if you take 500 lbs off of that he would probably be in the 10.1-10.2 range, no nitrous. Brian has a gorgeous truck, he probably has 300 lbs of stereo equipment in it, in fact the only difference between going down the track today running 10's and driving it on the street would be taking off his slicks, putting street tires back on and changing the tune back to the street tune. Brians has 20" Boyd Cottingtons in the front, sway bar still in tact, full interior, stereo system, bed rug, roll cage, he has QA1s on the back but stock up front. I am very happy for Brian, he is also a good enough friend and customer to let me try some experimental pistons, a new port design on the heads which are both working out very nice! I expect to see in the 670 HP range with a little more boost.
Johnny,
I have met Big Bob at a couple of Englishtown events, Super nice guy! In fact today I got to look under the hood of his truck and I have seen all your latest and greatest products. Bob is definatley getting some kick a$$ 60 foot times, he showed me one time slip with a 1.41 and his best run was a 10.34 @128.8X. He showed me also the new race tested nitrous system on it. He is running a little bit more boost (3lbs) than Brian and V's truck today and a 150 shot of nitrous also 400 lbs lighter than Brian and 500 lbs lighter than V's. He told me he uses his truck strickly for racing, he also said off the spray he runs 11.1-11.2's. We all run our trucks at different HP levels for different reasons, from what I can see when we are at the events most people are happy with what they have, its kinda like you. You went on a mission to build the fastest Gen 2 and you have. Customers Like Brian and Vinnie like there big stereo systems and going to car shows and they also have mid 10 sec trucks. I am happy to be able to build all my customers dreams exactly the way the want them!
