Post Cyberbrawl-truck class a go!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that there will be a truck class for the Lightnings, 454ss and dakotas to run in. The racing format has not been finalized yet, but many are pushing for a heads up class with street type rules. Bob is apparently wanting feedback from us to make a decision on what kind of class to make it.

I also dont see a web site sponsorship from F-150 online. I think that this site should be one of the competing sites.

I hear ya. Bob is not yet done with adding websites. He tells me the work involved can be overwhelming, so he is being rather chosey right now. Several other truck sites, like 454ss.com, are trying to be added as well. It doesn't matter a whole lot to me. I'll just sign up under some site and race.

More good news! I have it on good authority that Sport Truck magazine has verbally comitted to covering the truck part of the race. So come on you guys make the trip. You've got a lot of time to plan for it.

Where will this Cyberbrawl take place? How 'bout having the 1/4 stuff done over long distances so that people can join in the fun cross country w/out having to drive all the way. Say having a Cyberbrawl rep at a track to scan and verify who ran what time in which truck.... Just a thought. Then having the times posted over the 'net.

I dont know about that. Different tracks can be faster than others and atmospheric conditions may be different as well (which you have probably noticed affects our trucks pretty dramatically). With enough notice on the exact date, I'll be there for sure.

Just came across this thread - it certainly seems to me that if this event is going to be promoted on the F-150 Online Message Boards (which it seems to be) and users of this site will be running as well, F-150 Online should be listed among the sites!
