Hello all, I'm putting my feelers out here and trying to locate more SVT Lightning owners in the Central California area. I'm in Clovis myself. I've ran into a few fellow L owners here, but no word of how many are around, and if we have any clubs in the area. If you're from around here and you have a lightning, or even other Ford toys hit me up I'd love to hear from ya. I'd love to start a club and maybe even a repair shop dedicated to Lightnings and other Ford toys. BK, Ford Motor Company and ASE Certified Technician

I know a couple of good guys from Visalia, but we really only get together when we go racing.

It would be great to meet up with more central cali people.

Can I ask where u got your bed cover from?
Love the look and want/need one for my 03 Lightning.
Been thinkin of a fiberglass cover but too much $$ for the wallet at this time.
Also, are u satisfied with yours and it's functionality?

Hey nice to see another central cal lightning my name is kevin and i live in visalia. Ive got a 99 red lightning. I meet up with a couple guys Judd,and Omar here in visalia and go to famoso when we get a chance. I know of about 5 other lightnings here in visalia besides our three. I would be great if we had a central cali get together maybe like a Mod day or something

 

arod: The cover is the ford factory cover. It has held up nicely, but I keep my truck in a garage all the time. It is nice to be able to roll it up and haul a motorcycle or quad back there (which you cant do with a hard cover).

kev: I know judd and omar. We have been to famoso numerous times together, his truck and mine run nearly identical times. We need someone to spear head a get together for all of us.

 

Not quite central california here -- I'm in Northern Ca --> Livermore.
But, if a Famoso meet happens at the right time I might be in for a road trip!

 

Nice to meet ya!! It would be a whole lot of fun to get some fellow owners together and go for a cruise sometime. I know a few, but no one personally. I'm Brandon, mine is a Red 2004.

I definatly agree we need to have a get together im going to talk to Judd and Omar see what there doing. I would gladly organize the meeting for us all. Give me some ideas of meeting you guys would like. Maybe a cruise to hooters to hang out, BBQ, etc. Just give me your guys ideas and ill get to work.

thanks allot, i'll call and/or look around for the Ford factory soft top then.
i aggree, i also have a bike and haul it around at times, and didn't want to take off a hard top cover when that time came around.
the soft top WILL be nice to roll up right away...
i also keep the Lightning in my garage so i don't need to worry about it gettin weathered or messed with over night.
