My Dad bought one made out of smoked plexiglass from a company up north somewhere. If fit real good around the blue oval. I will try to find out where he got it.

I'm not laughing at all, great job, and thats too bad for the motorhome...what was that guy thinkin??? So about the cardboard grill.... what exactly does it do if you don't mind the stupid question...??

 

It keeps the air flowing around the truck instead of through the engine room.

Think of the front grill on the truck as a giant parachute on the front of the truck.

 

How much time would a near stock truck gain with a plexicover over the grill?

 

Guessing.. I'd say .1-.2 and a few mph.

Depending on weather conditions. i think it helps the more powerful trucks, when their going 110-130mph...

 

best part is the motorhome lol

 

I know, but I felt bad.
They were from Canada and used the motorhome to tow their trailer with the race car in it. I have no idea how they got back.
