Pre MAF Dry Shot

Has anyone had experience with a small(50 shot) dry kit installed pre MAF? A kit like the Compucar nitrous in a bag or similar?
I am interested to see how it performed, and what it did to AF ratios.

Ran a 75 shot like that . No problems, kicked ***. Ran a 12.2 with a six pounder and the 75 with some crappy 1.8 60s. Never did get it on the dyno with spray so i dont know what the A/F was.

PRE-MAF NITROUS?

That doesn't sound good, the MAF sensor maintains a certain temperature, The more "electricty" it has to run through the sensor to maintain a temp, the more air that is passing by it.

Here's what I'm getting at:
Nitrous is DAYUM cold

It may not be the most favorable method, but I have great reservations about putting a wet shot thru the blower and intercooler. Those parts were never intended to be run in a wet condition.
By shooting pre Maf instead of post I will be able to run a street tune with or without nitrous. Going post Maf will require a dedicated N2O tune.

consider a direct port injection system...

Maybe something plumbing into the lower intake, into the intake runners

A direct port kit is the best choice, but would be expensive to pull off. I am just looking for 50-75 HP which can be had for under $500.

Compucar makes the Nitrous in a bag kit for universal Maf style applications. Dyno tune also has an inexpensive dry kit specifically for the Lightning.
