So in order to lift a head, it means there has to be uncontolable combustion? How does that work? How do you stop it? Does a S/C or Turbo increase/decrease the risk or are they the same risk?

Hi Rich
No....My aftermarket caged pulley didn't last too long before it made its way to the garbage can...and yes I'm serious. I used and 8lb JLP or PSP not sure which....I got it used.

Bad, yes we did make that kind of boost on the dyno but we also did it on the track at Lapeer Dragway but lifted both heads doing it 2 years ago.

I'm not questioning wether you made that kind of boost...I'm sure you did but my point is that on a 112 cube Eaton it just isn't stressing the 8 rib drive belt like a larger blower or in the case of the 3.3 whipple (almost 202 cubes) almost twice as big.
I'm questioning the drive system on a big blower at high boost, not the high boost by itself.
