Planning on Chickenears new full intake setup w/true flow filter & scoop, anyone have it? How do you like it? How's it sound? How's it feel? etc...

I like it,but I am very modded so I won't really see the butt dyno results... It is a great kit and put together well though...

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago. Nice kit. Easy install.

It really stabilizes IAT temps and keeps them down.

I was at the track last night but I also added slick to the equation so I don't know if there were any actual gains from the kit but I got better and more consistant times.

Anyone have problems sucking stuff up into the box from the outside scoop?

I remember JLP making a case that a closed box is a bad idea because it will suck in moisture, dirt, etc. from outside.

This is for the guys who have the clear box screen/lid cover.

No problems here. The box is closed on 5 sides but the end facing the fender has an opening around the outside of the filter which would allow any crap sucked into the scoop to escape.

So moisture isn't an issue?

We're in our third day of rain here and I haven't seen any problems. I go real slow thru the deep puddles but drive normally otherwise.

Cool, do you have the closed setup? (clear lid cover)

Sorry, missed your last post /\ you have the closed... Thanks!

Anyone have any performance numbers? I'm sure it would be about the same as any other intake system out there.

Hey this is a little off topic but on your homepage what kind of rims are on that white lightning? That whole truck looks sweet!
