While at the SSOTN event on the 12th I ran a 11.77-118.30mph with a crappy 60ft of 1.995. My 1/8th mile was a 7.658 at 95.27.
On my second pass Eric Eldreth from innovative diesel gave me some advice on shock set up and stall use. I pulled my best 60ft so far 1.81, it was pulling like a freight train!! I almost thought the rear bumper was dragging, but upon review of the picture's, it was just slightly lowered!!! I can't imagine what Charlie, JLP, Dave London, or Russ are feeling!!
On the second pass I had a 7.48 1/8th @ 95.32, a new best, at about the 1000ft mark I heard some detonation (kind of felt it more than heard it) and had to let out and coast through the traps at 12.13-91.39mph. Does anyone have an idea of what I would have turned if I could have gone full throttle the entire pass??
I've used a couple of the conversion chart's but they don't correlate, slightly higher ie:my 11.77 pass should have been around 11.9. Has my 7.48 1/8th pass at a 11.70 range.
Someday I'm gonna give up on these darn Nitto's and get some real tire's!!!!
TIA,
Bryan
