Question Build numbers

Checked with my dealer this morning. He's checking to see what my scheduled buid date is. when I told him I also wanted the build number, he acted like he didn't know what that was. He said my order number is 7327. Is the order number the same as the build number?

Yep, Danieldale is in Duncanville. I'd invite you to stop by and let me see your L, but I won't be around this weekend. Have a good trip.

Moonshine,

Nope, order number and build number are not the same. Other than knowing they are not the same, however, I'm not sure what the order number represents. Possibly, the order number is either a dealer assigned number or a factory number relating to the total number of vehicle (not just Lightning's) orders placed by the dealer.

Build number, on the other hand, is the sequence number designating where in the total number of SVT Lightning's for a particular model year, your truck was built. For example, out of 4,000 Lightning's built in model year 1999, my truck is number 2190. This number is assigned by the Ontario Truck Plant, where our L's are assembled.

Got a sister that lives in Duncanville. Believe the exit is Danieldale off of 67. Going to be up there this weekend for niece's birthday.
