Intercooler pump?

I can't seem to find it, but there was a thread about the intercooler pumps stop working and you could take them apart and clean them out???

Mine won't pump at all and I've swapped fuses/relays.

Its probably the dreaded black dust in your pump. Just pull out the pump(dont get a coolant shower). I believe its 2 screws on a bracket and 2 hoses, one coming from coolant reservoir and the other going into the heat exchanger, 1 elec. connection.
Disasssemble the pump, I think 6 phillip tip screws, turn upside down and tap with screwdriver or something until you remove the black dust.
I just did this last weekend its a piece of cake! Let me know if you need anything else.

Check your connection at the pump itself. My connector was rotted out and wouldn't run. Had to get a new pigtail harness.

Mike at MAdenterprise has them. Do a Search for Madenterprise.

It's not the pump..It's the Motor...Tap the motor housing after you pull it off....black crap will fall out.....try just tapping the case with it still installed. Sometimes this will get them to run a while...But you do need to clean it. I cleaned mine and bought a new one..The original one is still running on the 01...116000 miles..the black crap must be electrolysis or something...
My new pump is just waiting for it's chance....
