I am trying to get my old lady a mustang GT. But will have to order. Late release of zink yellow, not very many will be made. But my dealer has a used 99 cobra convertible. With 2k miles, red with black top and dark gray in side.Only 27k for car. Tires still have **** on them.Very very clean. I know cobras are in the air about the HP, but is so nice and has taken 5k hit below sticker. What do you guys think. TO GET OR NOT TO GET ? My sales rep is just for new, but he told we it was a deal and had walk me over and show me, for a few $ more what I could get. I'm only 26 ,but love to have toys.

Bad I've been watching the board for a few weeks since you first dropped in. I thought at first you would be a bit to strong for the board to handle, but now it's almost hard to imagine the board without you! Your a good guy & I just might have to take you up on an offer to purchase a Cobra down the road if thats ok with you *grin*.

I work in Springfield MA, and live 10 mins outside of Springfield across the CT boarder in Enfield. I go up to Hampton Beach quite frequently during the Summer months. I'll have to drop you a line so I can see your beautiful truck.

The g/f is looking forward to getting rid of the 94 Pontiac Grand AM. I am growing a little tired of it myself. I need a daily driver with some heart. Like the others have said, ONE GOOD SVT DESERVES ANOTHER!!

I purchased a White 99 Cobra around July last year, knew of the horse power related problems they were having and was told by SVT that there would be a fix out in september. After I bought it I put a 4.30 gear in it to get some low end pull that it was serverely lacking. Went to the track and the best wheel spinning tire bouncing pass I could make was a 13.91. At that moment I wanted that fix imediately! Contacted Ford and told me that it would be available around Dec-Jan. By now my throw out bearing was squeeling, check engine light on(MAF sensor) and getting sick of wheel hop in the rear....getting very disgusted!
Being that im a drivability tech at a Ford dealer I was able to perform that recall on another like Cobra.....of all the changes I couldnt tell any change in power. So, what I did is traded my Cobra for a pretty new White Lightning...by far better move!

What is wrong with pulleys?

Has anyone seen the feb/2000 car+driver. Cover has FR500. Has list of parts from ford racing catalog. 5.0L DOHC bolck on top of other go fast pasts making 415hp, 365lb. Also has front suspenion car should come with from factory.
