I could not believe how much they charged for tolls. I almost went broke when I went and picked up my truck in New Hampshire

NY sent me a $400 ticket in the mail after I first got my truck... and I've never even been to NY with my L..

I live near the West Virginia Turnpike, it has a total of 3 $1.25 tolls spread out over it's 100 mile or so length. I'm lucky i live right in the middle of the number 1 and 2 tolls, so i get to ride it for free to where i need to go. But there is one exit on the whole Turnpike that they charge 25 cents to enter & exit that i use regularly. And i don't know how many times i have went through the unmaned lanes, and end up finding a buck or more in change on the ground that people have threw out and missed the basket with.And being the tight wad i am, you bet i get out and pick it up! But i do know one thing, TOLLS ARE A PAIN IN THE REAR, AND THE WALLET!!!!

I got 4 of them in one weekend on the NY thruway. My ez pass was busted.

 

I mailed them a .70 cent check this morning and wrote right on the ticket
I DO NOT have EZ Pass
I DID NOT use the EZ Pass Lane
I PAID CASH FOR THAT TOLL

I also explained what I think happen,
My Friend Vinnie was in front of me towing a vehicle and he must have only paid the toll for one vehicle, then speed off so fast that by the time I pulled up, WAM you took my pic. Enclosed is pic's of the Person you want





I also enclosed Vinnie's License Plate Number, Address, and Tele #

I got a ticket in the mail from Penn turnpike for $116.

When I called about it. The guy on the phone said thats what I have to pay because.That was his answer to why I have to pay this much.
