AMOF at that time 8:00 I would have been following V on the way to the track.

First off WTF is a RAS Violation ????
(gee way to go Jersey, dont even tell me what I'm getting a ticket for ??)

AND
Where the hell do you plead NOT GUILTY
Cause those MF's aint getting a dime from me
I DO NOT have E-Z Pass
I DID NOT use an E-Z Pass lane
AND I PAID EVERY TOLL I WENT THROUGH WITH CASH
WTF ??????

What is RAS ???

 

Maybe you went through quicker than the toll machine registered the change you tossed in the baskit.

I had the same thing happen to me here in Texas but i have an EZ-Tag so all i had to do was make a call to the toll autority to get everything straighted out. I agree with Rocks that you may have accidentally rolled to far forward before the arm came up. Best of luck.

 

I've thrown my money in and the light has stayed red. I just go anyway.

They were actually talking about that on the radio this morning that sometimes the machine screws up and doesn't read all the money that you should just drive through. They didn't say what you are supposed to do if you get a ticket though. Hopefully you can just take care of it over the phone by telling them you did throw your money in and the booth screwed up.

 

Then they will send you a picture of 'the boot' they are going to use on your ride.

 

outside chicago on 294 a toll ate my money and it hate a ****ing arm gate hanging down, I gave more than the required money and it wouldn't raise so I did a small burntout and swore and threw 4$ of change I had in a cup down the thing and it worked, kinda scared my gf lol

yea ive always tried to go through the window with the atendent. And i make a point of putting in the correct ammount, and if it stays red i demand a recipt from the atendent so Chit like this wont happen to me.

RAS is the toll plaza abbrev's. Can you think of what toll plaza that would be?

Send them the money and then charge them a 25 dollar admin fee...

same thing happened to me last year on the NJ turnpike coming home and getting off exit 2. now there's only TWO toll booths to get off exit 2 cuz its the friggin boonies. one is EZPass the other is a toll attendant. I stopped and paid the guy the 70 cents i owed, the lights on the sign that said "please pay" or "thank you" were burnt out, and have been for a while, so i gave him the money, waited til he put the money in and gave me my change, and slowly pulled off as usual. well the FU*KING PR!CK never hit the button or whatever that said i paid, and got a ticket just like that in the mail with a pic of my truck and a 25 or 50 dollar ticket for running the toll called up and all they would tell me is there's no way that could happen and i MUST have ran the EZPass toll my azz. and what a suprise next time on the turnpike the signs on exit 2 that said if you paid or not were workin again, and ever since then asked for a reciept until i finally got EZPass.

toll road whats that jk that sucks rob we have a redlight in town that has a camera and they will mail tickets out when you run them suddenly people ride around with tailgates down

My friend did that back home in CO. He eventually had to pay the fine but it was worth a laugh!!
