For truly driving fast, and getting more tickets than you ever thought possible...I have two words: Judas Priest. Get the two CD set "MetalWorks '73-'93" It is intense, driving techno/metal that fills you with adrenaline when weaving through traffic on the freeway at night, doing about 90mph. Highly recommended!

So you will be posting the songlist and offer to make us copies, right? (For a small fee to cover cost, of course) I've got my cd single of Ministry's Jesus Built My Hotrod (Redline/White Line ver.) ready and waiting for the call from the dealer. I *highly* suggest adding this to your list. BTW thanks for the topic. I've been thinking the same thing since ordering my lightning in Nov.

Here a few of my personal favs....

Sammy Hagar "Heavy Metal"

Don Felder "Takin' a Ride (On Heavy Metal)"

(are we seeing a trend here?)

Ozzy Osborne "Crazy Train"
"Momma I'm Comin' Home"
"Bark At The Moon"
"Iron Man" (Black Sabbath)

Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon" (the whole album, of course)
"Learning To Fly"
"The Division Bell"
"Wish You Were Here" (again, the whole album)
"Comfortably Numb"

Bon Jovi "Slippery When Wet" (in it's entirety)

Bad Company "Runnin' With The Pack"

The Moody Blues "Long Distance Traveler"

Emerson, Lake, & Palmer "Lucky Man"

And about 200 others I can't think of right now. But this should get it done for at least a dozen or so tickets.

these posts are bring back fond memories of last fall, when we posted all of our favorite go fast songs. i remember last oct, when one worked very well for me. i remember the flashing blue lights in the distance. then i remember them becoming part of my rear bumper, ah yes, sweet memories. next friday i get to fight my very first "trifecta" (3charges on one ticket) in court. hope the a**hole 18yr old kid that gave it to me doesn't show up. so, guys and gals, load up your changers, sing those old tunes, and hope the "Man", or kid in my case, understands.

This is invariably going to come up, so I'll be proactive and shoot it down now.

The 6 disk cartridges for the changers are like $60 at the dealer. They can be had for $25/ea from www.radiosandmore.com . I ordered 2 of them last night and it was less (including shipping) than 1 piece from the dealer. 6 discs sounds like a lot of jams, but they do start to thin out on road trips. IMHO, a spare or two is a good thing.

Wyldman,
Thank you thank you thank you thank you. I've been looking everywhere for the extra cartidges. I was gonna take the one from the
Expedition but the wife wouldn't appreciate that.

Oh yeah, Molly Hatchet's Flirtin with Disaster would be a fine addition to the list.

Thumbs up

Rush [Red Barchetta] has got to be one of the classic auto songs. Hopefully "The Motor Law" never keeps us from hitting the streets with our beasts.

Christy Ann,
is that the Cake song that starts out with "reluctantly crouched at the starting line, engines pumping and thumping in time"?

Let's not forget about "Bush - Machine-Head"
"Got a machine-head, better than the rest, green to red"

BTW-Devil went down to Georgia---GREAT PICK!
