Well,
Most of you know....I am a criminal. Just kidding. But I have made it no secret that that the little girl and I have had my run-ins with the law. Well, after 3 continuances and priceless amounts of advice from y'all I have court bright and early tomorrow morning. I am not so worried about the charge that Jared and I warranted a couple of weeks ago. Whatever happens happens and you have seen all the discrepancies but tomorrow will be tougher. So just wanted to ask that you keep your fingers crossed and for those of you inclined, a little prayer is encouraged. Even us Angels need some help.

I couldn't talk to the DA until the court day so we will just have to wait. I will be seeking some legal advice before court just incase the DA does not cooperate.

Well I went in and since I had been filing for continuances I was already familiar with the B3 division secretary so when I talked to her she gave me the dl on the Judge, ya know, do's and don'ts, so I saw the DA and we talked about the remarks that the officer wrote on the courts copy of the ticket. I was aware that he had come off the shoulder from a dead stop. But for whatever reason he admitted in writing not only what mile marker he was at but also what mile marker he wrote the ticket at, had I gone another mile, I would have been in unincorporated Arapahoe County and out of his district. I don't think that would have stopped him, but whatever. Anyway. He also noted that he was aware of the excess of speed I was using because his own vehicle *Chevy Tahoe* would not top 100MPH but he was at 99 following me....So I went in, saw the Judge. Totally not Mr. Happy Guy. We talked about how crappy it was that it was snowing today and blah blah blah...then we started discussing the ticket. Can't remember which one(s) of you advised me not to point out that the cop was a POS jerk, but thanks. I told the Judge that I am sure that in no way would I accuse the officer of lying but it is possible that he could have been mistaken. The logic wasn't there. Whether or not the cruise was accurate, how would it be possible for him to go from a dead stop to 99MPH in a vehicle like a Tahoe, get in between myself and a semi and pull me over in less than a mile like the ticket he himself wrote indicated? He may have had to reach a speed in excess of 95 MPH to catch me, but that does not mean that I was going 95+ because if that were the case how would he have closed the gap??? The Judge shook his head and said *I hate math word problems* Full fine plus court costs *118.00* no points. Anything else you would like to teach us here today Ms. Bubeck?* *No your Honor.* *Have a nice day Ms. Bubeck*

Congratulations CA. I'm really glad to see you kept your cool and did not take the time to tell the judge what you thought of the officer. I don't care what an a--hole he is/was, the judge will see it as a sign of disrespect for not only the officer, but the entire legal system. No Points, now that you can live with...or drive with.....again, Congrats, and please slow down. Be picky about where you choose to speed.....Big brother is always watching !!
