My friend Ferlin couldn't use the Bassani with his Comp. Engineering slide a links. I would be pissed if I was him. I love my Silver Bullet!

Not knocking either systems, but the Maggy is an awesome option. I refer to the three H's:

Heard the Silver.

Had the Bassani.

Happy with the Maggy!

Wish I had a sound clip for you. It's not too loud, not tinny, but just right and she's got *****!

Good Luck in your search!

I'm having the same problem with the sides of mine. I'm currently getting a horrible rattle from underneith.
I'm not sure what's going on down there, but it doesn't sound good.

Look at where the pipe comes out of the muffler and connects to the tail pipe section. Look to see if there is any black soot around there. Mine made a rattle and i couldnt find it till the soot started to gather. Also try having someone move the tips while you look at the mufflers. I bet you will be able to see or hear the rattle..

Good system, just a little too loud for my old ears. Check the classifieds on this forum.

yea thats what mind sounded like.. At first i just though the metal was so thin that when i moved the tips it moved the metal of the muffler.. Well it was moving because of a crack. It was small and in the small valley of the tube/muffler and could see it till it finaly cracked all the way...

Looks like I'll be needing a new cat-back.

JDM's silver bullet is custom made. Magna-flow sells a cat back for the Lightning, but it consists of one oval muffler.

Well I spoke with my Dad and we went over pricing info on the Silverbullet, over the past few years the cost to us to build these has done nothing but gone up. We stopped making them in house and now have kooks produce them, We switched to T304 Stainless steel, and the price of steel continues to rise by the minute. So still at $525 I think they are the cheapest twin muffler, stainless steel system avaiable. However we will be getting a new shipment in next week and anyone who wants to call and place their order for them with in the next 7 days will get them for $525 and FREE shipping. That will save you minimum $30, maybe more depending on where you live. This offer only goes for people in the 48 state, HI and Alaska may too qualify we just have to check on the time of order. This system definatley has one bad a$$ sound and apperance on the truck. Compared with most other catbacks on the market they are an easier fitment as well, and work with all traction bars unlike bassani!
