Two years ago I gave some consideration to running two MP superchargers on my Lightning. A custom mounting system would have been possible to produce, similar to the Whipple setup above. Doing this would have just been to be different, and the sound would have been incredible. The power loss to spin two blowers, as well as the combined weight, would have limited it's performance potential.
After seeing the Hellion twin charged kit I am leaning towards going remote turbo feeding my MP. I believe I can achieve great results with a big single without having to worry too much about converter choices or lag issues. This GT just gives me more hope that it is actually a good idea.
