Cool LSR / HALO'S

Lone Star Raceway! (Lightning Slick Road 1/8 mile)would have been a better name for it but, no body would come if they did. This place was incredably slick or these trucks are just to strong. More like to lite on the rear....
None opf the trucks could break 2.1 sec 60 ft times. All tire spin and no bite. The fastest time ran was only a 8.7204 at 82 MPH, and the slowest was 9.2893 and in all cases nothing but tire spin. We did have fun but will be prepared for the slick track next month. We will also do some adjusting on our posted et's. The hero of the day was Burninout101, he had the most wins and was the most consistant even spinning the tires. Hats off to Justin for doing a great job. Fun in the sun for the club and a great time for all just because we were there. We did do some serious damage to the "F" bodies. From a standing start they never stood a chance.

Cool

Allright Andre no attaaboys for me so I'll post my own. I had the fastest Stock truck, no chip, no filter kit, no gas additive. 9.0916 @ 78.32, .2 faster than next stock truck. Andre talked me into rasing my bracket time and I busted out. How do you let off when your racin. First time ever on a track. WOW!!!! I didn't have to look areound for the cops. Really strange. Wierd how all those cars were running much slower brackets that us. It was super neato when we had six trucks in the staging lanes at one time. Everybody looked. Everyone please put Andre's Wife (Kristi) on your prayer list as she goes in for surgery next Wednesday.

Had a great time and all of the info on performance upgrades was appreciated. I say the highlight of the day was when noelvm, while racing, came by with one hand on the steering wheel and one on his ciggar. That was funny. All HALO members in attendance were great people and it was pleasure meetting them. Thanks Andre for getting this together. You and your wife are in my prayers and I wish her a successful and painless recovery.

Hey guys,

Sorry I missed you all. However, I did make it down to Houston Raceway Park last night. Have a new best 1/4 mile time. It's not scorching, but not bad. Ran a 13.67 @ 101.64 mph. (With Downs and Superchip). Not too bad, and yes, traction was hard to come by there as well. Let my tire pressure down to 25 psi and that helped a lot.
