Post Launching with DR's--->>>>

Is there any proven methods? I'm going to the track tomorrow and I now have 255/50/16 BFG drag radials on. Thought I would ask to see if anyone has done well with DR's. See ya

Jeff
Have used the Drag Radils several times, no proven method yet. Best I have ever been able to do is from a dead idol. With any more than that I just blow them off, up in smoke. I have changed my shocks out for drag shocks and did a little better today but noticed the biggest increase in after they hooked up, managed a 8.60 1/8 mile at 89MPH. Best I have eved done. Do NOt Over heat them before your run, radials get slick when hot.

Don't like the drag radials then go this route. They are only a few dollars more.

Then maybe You can be running low 12's like this guy. Who else! High Risk!!!

Well I'm back. Been listening here all winter haven't had much to say.
I did have my best run of 12.29 @ 108 Saturday.
I've got a set of long tube headers getting Jet hotted now. I got them from Mike Reynolds at Lightning Performance. I talked to him on the phone for over a hour about what I've tried and some of his ideas on getting this thing a little faster.
I plan on running true dual 3" exhaust coming out both sides. After that the computer needs to be tweeked to adjust for all the mods.
Saturday was the first time with the Pro-M it seemed to be worth a tenth but would probably work better with the computer adjusted for it.

Jeff

How did they work? I also picked up a set of BFG DR's over the winter and hope to get to the track soon to try them. Did you break them in before going to the track? Meet you at Route 66 sometime.

Made a total of 6 runs today.(16th) The weather was not good...100% humidity. All 6 runs were almost exactly the same. The BFG DR's hooked fine.. 6--1.90 60' times. I ran with 20 psi and spun them until they smoked a bit. Brake torqued the motor until 1200-1800 and they held solid..All runs were 13.5@102 With dryer air I know more is to be had... I'll also be back at U.S. 41 or GLD soon. The first T&T is not until May 6th for 66... See ya Jeff
