Angry Help with New Motor

I’m getting a bit on the frustrated side now and feel like burning my truck to the ground. Sorry rant over. Here is the story I have a JLP short block, patriot stage 3 heads, crower stage 2 cams, and a kenne bell and the damn motor smokes on start up. If it sits a few days it bad a nice big cloud. If I drive it a lot it a small cloud on start up. it doesn’t smoke while running well enough to notice just on start up. Now here’s the question what’s causing it and how can I found out if it is causing it. Some people said it had to break in some say it the rings others say it the valve guides or valve seals and some say its cylinder wash from the tune. To tell you the truth after investing all this money I just want it to work and not look like a piece of sh*t. all you guys with the knowledge I would appreciate the help.

Thanks
Victor

Rings on a broken-in engine won't cause the blue smoke at start up. That would be guides/seals. But since you engine is new and apparently going through the break-in process, I don't know what's causing it.

Should contact patriot... I think they most likely seen your problem before...It's a head issue.. :-(

call JLP

Call JLP and find out what he wants or thinks you should do.

How long has the motor been in and how many miles are on it?

Something in the heads. It smokes on startup because while sitting, oil drips/leaks/drains into your cylinder. Most likely from the valve guides/seals. Do as Jeff suggested.
