More roll bar pics.

Spent the afternoon cleaning up the L so I snapped a few shots of the roll bar and tonneau.

I spent all night cutting and sewing the tonneau cover to fit around the rear bars. I used plastic sport zippers so they won't rust and it's a breeze to get to the battery for charging. Don't laugh, it's my first time sewing anything.

dealerjim, The whole package looks very nice, cage, interior and the stitch job with the zippers on the cover is a nice touch.

They are chrome Boss Motorsport 306's in 20x8.5. I really like the looks but I wish they came in a little wider size for the rear. I've got GoodYear 275/45/20 (stock Harley truck tires) on them.

Nice. Well they look real sharp. WHere abouts did you get them and how much did they cost? I've got about $6000 to spend and i'm looking for a new supercharger and a new set of rims. I just have stock ones on there now and i don't like the look too much.

I got the wheels for a grand off some internet site.(can't remember which one) The tires were $150 each from Tire Rack about 2 1/2 years ago.

Thanks. I had it done by J.P. Gleaves at Auto Creations in Macon, TN. He charged me $2200 for everything but told me his price would definitely have to increase for any future Lightning builds. This was his first Lightning so he really didn't know what to expect when he quoted me a price. Lucky me.

The guy is an amazing welder. It took me all of 5 minutes to make up my mind about using him when I saw his aluminum welding and a couple fully caged Mustangs he'd done.

I'd never know that it wasn't done by a pro.
