Have you tried the 99 lug nut? The Ford part book shows the same part for 99-2000 stock lug nots. Is there someone in your area with a 99 "L"? Where in Texas are you? I might could send you one to try.

Aren't the 2000's 14mm x 2?
I still haven't had any luck finding them for my 99, here in OKC!

Yes, A-Lightning, the studs on my '00 are 14x2, and I would assume that the rest of the 2Ks are also. Gorilla does not make a lock set for them, and I understand from Mike at Discount Tire Direct that although they did make a system for the '99s, they are out of stock and do not plan to manufacture any more. I guess the market is just too limited to justify tooling up. As far as McGuard goes, they evidently plan on making a 4 nut set for the '00s, available only through your Ford dealer. I ordered a set several weeks ago. The parts guy said they would be in in 3-5 days. Hah! I guess the info about the back order is correct.

Unhappy Still looking for Wheel Locks

I've had my '00 L for three weeks now and have not been able to locate any wheel locks. Makes me very uncomfortable to leave the truck when we go out. After waiting for 3 weeks for the locking lugs at the Ford dealer, I asked for my money back. It appears that they are on national bacl order until ?? Have tried Mc Gard, Gorilla and others for a locking set, but none aree available. It seems that the lug size was changed from 12mm x 1.75 ('99) to 12mm x 2.0 in '00. Has anyone been able to buy a set yet and if so, from whom? The part #'s found on the search are for '99's and won't fit. Thanks.

The Discount Tire store here had a set of 12mm x 1.75 Ford locks that I bought. Had to return them since they were too small. Good price of $20 for a set of four.
