Question Another stupid blower porting question.

I am sure you guys get tired of the questions, but I always say: "If you are not sure then ask. You don't always know everything."

Well, here it is: Has anyone ported just the inlet and the outlet of the blower without making that extra opening ahead of the factory outlet? If so, were there any gains?

I have all of the equipment to do anything I want to it, but I don't want to get so wild as to affect blower longevity.

Thanks!

the reason for the extra opening on the bottom is to use more of the I/C for cooling. basically it creates more efficient a/f cooling.

Yes others have tried, it weakened the case and the rotors got ate up.
