I dont know if there are any Boca Raton Lightning owners in this board. But i saw 2 red L going down Federal on thrusday 27 around 2pm. Just wondering if you guys are on here?

 

Hello all ( Florida owners )

Ok.. It looks like we have quite a few Lightning owners on the list.. now it is time to organize.. I live in Miami.. me and my buddy ( both have 99's ) are going to rally the masses down south.. I figure we can get about 10-15 1st and 2nd gen trucks together.. We were thinking of meeting in Orlando at Speed World ( The 1/4 mile drag strip ) Orlando is in the middle of the state so it should not be to far for anyone.. Now we just need to find a good date.. The strip runs test and tune on Wednesday and Friday nights.. Friday would probably be our best bet.. Does anyone have any suggestions as to when ?

I am buying a new house that is close to Desoto Speedway. I would like to come out and see the races. Do they still have the "run what ya want" races on Saturday afternoons? I used to go watch Escorts race Chevettes and stuff like that. It was very entertaining. I have yet to see a Lightning run so maybe I will get out there and see ya run Cobra.

I almost bought the 99 red Lightning on Sarasota Fords used lot last week. But I haul too much stuff with me to justify it. I also need the SuperCab. What a bummer!
