Thumbs up Got some new mods. **PICS**

Well I finally bit the bullet and got the JLP Plenum, Accufab SBTB, and my 8# lower. I bought a 3.5" KB pulley from a guy in the parts section, but I haven't received it yet. That's for the street tune. Here are some pics...

I got a really good deal on the Accufab and 8# lower. They are used and I got them from people in the parts section. Paid full price for the plenum though. :hh:

I went ahead and installed the plenum and SBTB today. I am lacking a few minor things to finish it. The two screws that go in the sides of the plenum are too long so I have to go get some shorter ones. My hose for the L&S Separator is too short now so I have to get some more. And my crappy screwdriver won't work to take the TPS off the stock TB so I have to buy a better one.

I decided to take the KB off to do the plenum. There is no way I would have been able to do it with it on the engine.

I had to "modify" the firewall a bit to get some clearance between it and the back of the plenum. I just cut the insulator crap away and beat the firewall with a hammer a bit. It is still kinda close, but it's not making contact.

And here are some pics of the almost finished product. I still have to do the things I mentioned above.

I ended up buying some gasket material and making a gasket for the plenum. That and the RTV I used was plenty to seal it up just fine.

It's for a FP gauge.

Like dirtchicken said, it's to remote locate the fuel pressure sender for the gauge instead of mounting it directly to the fuel rail.
