Hey Andre,

Just curious, how many miles did you travel and in what amount of time?

I was always curious how long my trip home would be from school (367 miles) if I could do 140 mph the entire way or most of it. Usual trip takes me anywhere between 5 and 6 hours depending on traffic and the weight of my foot

Cool vid as always

Hi Sean,

one way was around 200 mls.

On day 1 we had rain the half of the way and we needed around 3 hours 15min.
On the way back it was nice weather, traffic was ok and we were home after around 2 hours 30 min. with a short stop.

btw. i was going the same way with my ex-Bmw in 2 hours years ago - No traffic and not thirsty as the L.

At night you could be faster.

376 divided by 140 = 2.68 hours

Thumbs up Cool Vid!

Very cool video, Andre!

Enjoyed seeing all the great cars: BMW Z-8, Jag XK, the yellow Mustang, the white Vette, your dad's SL (is that a 500 or a 600?), etc., etc.

Loved watching the tach needle touching the redline in top gear while the speedo needle bounces off the peg at 140. Good music too!

The road looked wet but I assume it was just the lighting.

Good job!

Andre,

Great video.

It gives a good look at what it's really like to drive on the Autobahn during the day with traffic.

Later,
Chuck
