vt engines built a Short Stroke 5.4L turning 11,000 rpms

I think the turbo's that JLP has in there will play into the game plan.

good point. but i was thinking use more displacment to get them spooled faster on the line. but the truck class is bracket racing so most people he's running will be ahead anyway so he can just put it to the wood and lock the brake.

Are you using piston squirters and, if so, which ones? Which oil pump? Thanks.

No oil squirters. we used a 06 GT oil pump and pick up. the oil squirters will simply use a ton of oil and at high rpm's we didn't want to run into starvation of oil..JL

I was just joking. Johnny has a built motor going in my 05 Mustang GT. No where near the power he'll be making.

That's probably the best way to go for a drag motor. Now a road race motor...

I can't wait to see the 1000+ HP it puts down on the dyno and the great times it will run at the track. NOW that set-up is truely a major R&D project in development. GET ER DONE Good luck Dennis!!! Your new slogan should read <> the home of the $85,000 Gen II

Dennis doesn't have a clue about the kinda money needed to get to this level! Some guys stop counting $$$$ when you break the $100,000 mark.
