Plug Change with Whipple
Well Guys I have just done the plug change without removing the Whipple.
Does not take any longer than a stock set up.
Infact a little quicker if anything despite having my two young assistants asking questions and trying to help ( 3 & 6 year olds )
Passenger side a PITA for #4 but that's normal...
Drivers side - removed intake tube & filter to get at #5 & 6
Removed a few connectors and pulled the loom back off the valve cover in
order to allow a little clearance to remove the coil packs.
Slacken off the fuel rail so it can be moved back a little.
No issues getting to #7 & 8
It looked difficult as first but better than removing the blower, that in itself is not too bad, remove belt and four small bolts plus a few connections.
Truck pulls well with this blower.
Dyno in about 10 days with my buddy George who is going to install my Magnum blower onto his truck next weekend.
Real neat looking kit and easy to install, care needed with electrical alterations and vacuum hoses need a little thought.
Off to find me an SRT 10

LOL....I actually invented the clapper.......while tripping on LSD. It was 1976...to the best of my memory. Maybe I should cry like a bitch everytime they sell or advertise one of those damned things?
I can't tell ya how much of a kick I get out of dip sh^ts comming on these and other trucker forums wanting some kind of ************ credit for some rediculous inane bullsh^t. Christ all focking mighty...go get a real fricking life and do something besides fireside chats about could've would"ve should've. Who the fock cares anyway? That rates right up there with the, "first to do what da fock ever" at "what da fock ever timeslip", posts.
You want credit for something...be smart enough to market it and sell it. Until then...enjoy your fantasy life...
Ahhh...I feel better now.
Rocks
