Trying to help get a little interest in Ennis on June 9th. Coy has started a thread already, but I would like to get as many Lightnings as we can to attend. I have been talking to an R/T owner on the FvC site and the following is a short excerpt.

I can make Ennis on the 9th.
Will there be a group of Lightnings?
If so, I know a few other DFW R/T's that might want in.
Maybe a DFW Lightning vs R/T shootout?

I'll post over on the Lightning board at F-150 Online and see what I can do. I talked to one of the stock Lightning guys this morning and he will probably be there on the 9th. Sounds like fun to me.

For you guys that are a little reluctant to go to the track - just cause you show up doesn't mean you have to run your truck. This is not meant to be a grudge match. Just some good clean fun. How bout it?

Can't guarantee it yet, but I can probably make it. Finally got a little extra toy money, so I'm trying to get ahold of Sal to order my chip, but no way I'll have it by the 9th.

Great idea Sixpipes. I would love to see yall go head to head with some of those guys, but I will be in San Francisco from June 5th to July 20th for work. Heck I might not have a computer to check out the results. Let Mudder know as well, and he can help bring out the support.

I'll definitely be there, but it may be a bit after 7:00 before I can make it. Taking the wife to a 4:30 showing of "Gone in 60 Seconds". Who knows, maybe I'll pick up some driving tips. Chip has been ordered, but unless UPS works miracles I'll still be a lowly stock. Also, I'm told there are scales we can drive on just east of the timing shack. Anyone know more about that?

 

Yeehaw!!!!! Just got a little package from Sal, so I'll be chipped tomorrow night, but not filtered. It's not a dual position chip, but says it can be exchanged when those are available.
