Well I took the plunge and decided to go ahead with the stereo. Right now I have:

Alpine CDA-7845
Xtant 302A amp
Polk dx 6.5 components

Installed by July:

Alpine GRA-3820
2 12" kicker L7s
Xtant 2000dx amp
1/0 gauge wiring,
1 farad cap
white wolf interconnect
ground and power blocks
Fiberglass sub enclosure

I love my music and I love it loud. If everything goes right, they will start the install in 2 weeks 1000+ watts to each sub. Crystal clear highs. Unusable mirrors. Endless bass. What else could you ask for?
Pacecar~ the L7s are unbelievable. Awesome sound. Crystal clear lows and highs, the more power you add. the better they sound. Ultra small enclosures too.
