Actually, my main question is this:

Is the Downs good. I don't care about looks; I do, however, care a lot about performance. If you're selling your downs because it didn't meet your expectations, then, sorry, I'm not interested. But, if the kit did something for performance, tell me about it. That's the kind of info I'm looking for. Is there better than Downs?

 

Sals is the best(PSP).I have had two downs units and they both have worked fine.Their new one they are offering is a little better than my last.I got 3 more lbs more with it and it screams as you get on the gas.It works great and is fully ****ional.Sals is painted,sals uses a little better air filter.Downs uses the good ol K/N filter that has been known for many years.Downs is alluminum.I believe dals is steel???.Go with the downs it works fine.If sals was available,It would be a little better.Both give off the same performance for the most part .Its basically a difference in looks and prefference

 

Downs filter is pretty good. Makes the L scream and increases boost by about 2 PSI. Reason I am selling is I forked out the dough for a Pro-M w/Mass air unit.

 

I've seen the posts for guys selling their Downs, AirRaid and other brands. But is anyone selling their PSP filter?

Don't know to much about Down's, and not alot about PSP's. From what I've seen in here, PSP's system must be pretty good by concensus. Alot of people in here have PSP's kit.
Myself, I got the whole SHM mass air kit. Not sure how the other kits are working, but this kit pulls outside that snorkle hole in the panel that's really small for the air that I figured a lightning should have. The new mass air allows me to make changes to the flow as well, so in the future, should I get more mods, etc, I can adjust the MAF to match. This may have been more expensive I think for me, but think in the long run it will pay off.
