Post dude walked away from this one

Some of you who have owned a GN as I have or who have walked away from crashes will appreciate this. No way the dude got out of this, but he did...

Can anyone guess what car this was, and who drove it?

Please don't cheat buy looking at the URL!

Guess the guy forgot to tighten his frame bolts before racing. I think there may have been a recall on those.

Question

I don't mean to sound sceptical, but doesn't that GN frame look awfully 'clean' for having just shed all of the body parts & driveline? And if that frame hit that pole hard enough to cause that much damage, why are the electrical boxes on the pole in such pristine condition. Sorry for the long post.

[oops, just re-read article...poles and trees.

Later,
Jake...
