My dealer has a waiting list and wants $20,000 above retail. So for $75,000: I could have two L with mucho mods so I'd get 2.5x the HP and 3x the torque, needless to say where my money is going.

A buddy of mine said that he saw a '94,5,or6 (I just don't remember) Cobra R for sale in an AutoTrader Magazine for $26K or so. HMMMM... An L and an R? Sounds good.

Last week, I saw a car hauler with about ten of those new $50K + R's. Man, that's alot of money and a lot of broken dreams if a truck like that were to have a mishap.

Hey Duck,

Yeah, there are some '95 R model Cobras out there for high-20s in good shape. Lot of potential with the 351W, IMO.

Still, I think its unfortunate that 90% of these cars will never be raced at all...just put in storage.

I'd rather build something with my own hands that will perform just as well, if not better, and drive it hard! That's a lot of money that could be used to build something.

I'm most impressed with the FR500 Mustang, but I know that will never be built.

If only someone would give me $15K for my '91 Bronco. It would be nice to be able to have an R at a price reasonable enough that you are able to drive it like it was meant to be driven. I will probably be lynched for saying this on a Ford board, but I agree wholeheartedly about building something on your own...especially when it's a '68 Camaro. <CURL INTO FETAL POSTITON!> Just my $.02.
