Post Lightning Engine

I have a 1999 F-150 4x4 with a 5.4. Would it be posible to put in Lightning engine? What would I have to change in order for it to run properly? Would I have to put in a 4R100 Transmission?

I think you would have to make it a 4X2, since it would cost lots to make a transfer case take all that torque.

You'd need the computer (CUX1) for sure. I would guess the whole package (engine, transmission & computer) would cost ~$8,000 plus shipping, plus installation, plus shake-out... Why not just put an aftermarket blower on what you have?

I would rather put in a Lightning engine because the stock engine was not built for a supercharger. But the Lightning engine was built to be a supercharged engine.
