Hi guys I was wondering if it would be possible to remove some of the turbulance bar in the mass air. That seems to be some of the restriction. I think a good inch could be removed. But I don't know of anyone who has done this. $400 is alot for a little old pro-m and it's basically the same as the stock one except the the bar is removed. Any info would be great. thanks

 

WhenI was on the R/T board, the big thing was bored out throttle bodies. I haven't looked at the system but does anyone know if ours can be bored out for more air flow. Seems like this could be done for $100 or less; much cheaper than the $400 for the Pro-M.

Not much room at all to bore them out. Would prob. be better off to get a single blade bore, like that of the '00 Cobra R.

 

Several mustang guys have tried this on the 96-99gt's with very mixed results. Generally though it seems most ended up trashing their stock meter and switched over to a pro-m or C&L.

400 bucks for a pro-m WOW! that is high. I only paid 300 for mine several months back from Houston Performance and last I heard they were down to 289.

Swanson Performance has the Pro-M 80mm for $350...but maybe thats only if you buy his chip with it. He has the two listed together on his webpage...I'm contemplating going with that setup. Is anyone else using this combo?
