I was thinking today. Did Ford put the Hitch on to stiffen the rear frame? DISCUSS

Dbl G also now sells some x-factor type brace for that rear section...
His product is called the "Spyder Brace"

"For those of us whom have a rear Roll Pan or have dropped the Trailer Hitch and want extra bracing in the rear, this is your answer.
That takes all Stability that was lost and replaces it and then some, not only will this be great for the Road Course junkies out there, but for the ones that want that added rigidity in the frame.
These will nicely compliment a Panhard system and Sway.
Again a first on the market.
Available for $175 The Spyder Brace will be followed by it's bigger brother soon.
3/16"th attachment points and 1/4" gusseting with an 1 1/4" tubular backbone that is an 3/16"th thick as well."

I had these on for about 60K, it handles (sways much less) at higher speeds, it feels like the truck is glued to the road. It feels like it bites harder, and with a slight adjustment I can increases my hauling capacity. Oh yea it also stops wheel hop.. And on and on....
I don't say it works, it just works for me........
After all, this is really AN OLD FARM TRUCK, I have forgotten how many stumps I have removed, or how much chain linked faience line I have ripped from over grown trees, or how many times, I have loaded 16 sacks of (80 lbs cement).. Oh yea tires usually only last me about 6 to 8K, a set.
I quickly learned never to rotator the front to the rear, burn the rear, replace the front...
Sorry to ramble, but I never really felt any type of frame warp, when tearing or pulling any fallen trees, or on a WOT rush!!!
