I've been looking around for a history of the Lightnings, to see what has changed from year to year, as well as the specs from each year. If anyone has a link to a site that provides information like this I would appreciate it.

01 ADDED NEW WHEELS,BLINKER IN MIRRORS 20 MORE HORSES, 90MM MAF AND SILVER COLOR AND CHROME HEADS AND TAILS

02 ADDED TRUE BLUE , KEYLESS ENTRY ,AND I THINK ALL 3 OPTIONS BECAME STANDARD. TOW/TONNEAU/6 DISK CHANGER

03 ADDED NEW WHEELS, DIFFERENT CARPET ,6 DISK INDASH ,BRIGHT HANDLES ,UPDATED HEADS IN LATE 03 WITH MORE THREADS DIFFERENT, CARPET ,PEFERATED STEERING WHEEL ADDED SONIC BLUE AND DSGM NO MORE TRUE BLUE. REAR WAS LIFTED 2 INCHES FOR SOME STUPID REASON

04 SAME TRUCK PRETTY MUCH.

well horse dooky, they changed the sight.

 

Some early 2000 Lightnings still had Eaton on the blower, and 12mm studs. Mine has Eaton on the blower, and 14mm studs.

The only other thing I'll add is that thier was a updated intercooler with 10 core vrs the 9 core in 99-00.

Tonneau was still only an option. But, good list though.

 

In 2000 the silver was added to the color options, I've got one.
