What:

I'm glad to know it's not just me....

Add these:

I never threatened mechanics with bodily injury that worked on my vehicles before(seriously). My normal comment to them is, "there's not a scratch on it. Don't F#$k it up".

I've never parked the Lightning in a single parking spot. I always take two.

Never owned a daily driven vehicle perpetually clean all the time.

Never owned a vehicle that I cleaned the interior quarterly.

Simply put:

Never owned a vehicle that I loved so much or was so proud of!

Thumbs up

i know what you mean. i've never had a vehicle before that can communicate with me like this one can. like when your sleeping, and you wake up, and look outside and she's flashing those brights at you, beconing you to walk over and rub her flared hips, i mean fenders, and you do, and she drifts off back to sleep, and you lay down on her Bedrug and life is good. yep these trucks are Awesome!!!

Cool Things Sure Are Different Now!!!

Before I thought about buying a Lightning, things in the automotive world were pretty straight forward for me. I saw something I liked and I went and bought it. Sure there was some anticipation, but it was short lived.

Then I discovered the Lightning and this board. Things Sure Are Different Now!!!

I never wanted something so badly in my life.

I never anticipated the arrival of something so much. Especially with all the ups and downs of the rumor mill.

I never was so excited about build dates and delivery dates and the final drive to pick something up.

I've never been so disappointed when I had problems with a vehicle.

I've never gone and spent $150.00 on car cleaning products.

I've never bought things through the internet before. Now it's like normal.

I've never looked so forward to being able to drive a vehicle before.

I've never gone to race at a dragstrip before. Did that this Wednesday. Good fun.

I've never really worried about leaving my vehicle out of sight before.

I've never gone out and dried the dew off a vehicle before. Or rain, or bird*****, or even used a car duster. Feel silly sometimes, but I guess it's just pride.

I've never polished my exhaust before.

I've never wanted to add power to a vehicle before. Chips, MAF's, filters, etc...

I've never been quite consumed like this before (please don't take this the wrong way dear wife)

Anyway, feel free to add to the list.

Thanks Ford and F150online.com for altering my life.

Agreed Bud!

My problem was that this all happened with my 95 Z28. I couldn't sleep knowing the day it was coming to the dealer. Problem was, I was so utterly disappointed with the car due to the multitude of problems that I had, it left a scar on me that I won't ever forget.

However, this has all healed once I bought the Bolt. Everytime I sit in this thing and drive, it is just pure enjoyment. Sure, you get your quirks about certain things, but hey....the world isn't perfect. This truck is the kind of vehicle that I have been dreaming about for years.

Cool

LOL,You guys are preachin to the choir!
I left my L at a friends place of work(guarded lot ) last weekend ,he and I and a few friends headed to the mts of PA to do some camping(No way my Bolt was making this trip). When I came back on Monday I was besieged w/ question from pretty much everyone that worked there! "How fast?","How much?","Where can I get one?"....It was awesome AND ridiculous! I was there for over an hr showing her off! Damn I love this truck!

Hitman
P.S.They had one more request...That I leave the keys w/ her the next time I left her there!LOL...No freakin way!

Never been so happy as towing my Seedoos up the Baker grade at 75 in overdrive, passing cars with ease.
