Well, we didn;t get to the finals last week. Breakouts, redlites, and overconfidence Jerrod and we didn't make the finals. We will do better this time. I know you guys are all dropping out early so you can drink beer.

We are never going to go to LSR again on a weekend when they are having a sanctioned IHRA EVENT. Normally we make 20-25 passes before eliminations start. There were so many dragsters and trailered cars we only got 4-5 passes before eliminations. Really sucked. The beer in the cooler looked so great that Jarrod and I decided we would both red lite on our first pass so we could drink beer and watch the fast stuff. Our times were .15 off because of the air anyway. The only interesting thing to report was I dialed in a 9.05 and I ran a 9.0547. Maybe I'm starting to learn this thing. Jarrod opens his hood to show me his new bassai exhaust. It was dark, I couldn't see a thing. I was really disappointed. Seems to me since it doesn't make you go any faster (it didn't for him) the least they could do would have been to supply neon lites for under the hood!!!

Good to see I didn't miss much in Sealy. I got to relax here with some coldies and hunnies. Plus, I came up with enough time to take the "ark" (30' pontoon boat) out to Somerville today. A good time was had by all. Oh well, I'll try to catch y'all next weekend.
