Check the connections at the starter relay, maybe a loose or bad connection.
Mine would start when cold but would occasionally not start when hot.
Hope this helps

I had the exact same symptoms on my truck. I would be driving along and it would just cut off. I could start it right back up every time though. Turns out it was my chip. I have since moved to the Xcalibrator which removes the chip altogether. Been running smooth ever since.

Is this the chip? http://www.kennebell.net/accessories...switchchip.htm

I'd just remove it all together.

*edit* If you go with the Predator, most people reccomend not using the tunes that come with it.

I am not a big fan of the Diablo products.

I like the SCT tuners a lot better.

I think it's behind the passenger's side kick panel. I'm not sure on the Lightnings though.

You need one of these. Preferably the 9100.

Its in the passenger kick panel up towards the firewall though. Unhook the battery and then remove the tape thats holding the chip in and it should come right out.

What do have for mods on your truck?????????

Depending on what you have for mods you might be OK without a chip in it for a while. If your mods are not to extreem you can run without the chip for a while and see if the chip is your problem.

There are just small mods like intake vent, open airfilter, and the chip.... so i cant se any problem with taking the chip out?

make sure you don't have a aftermarket pulley on there too(bottom center of front of motor), if no pulley you are probably alright without a chip with only a air filter.
