No matter what ***** these guys are giving you if you just do the Lightning and the badges the Lightning looks like a truck with a little more class. I love the way my truck looks and wouldnt give a damn what these guys thought. It is your truck and you are the one making the payments..

come on lightning, we are just teasing, no one here expects you to listen to anyone but yourself!

So, with the gold wire rims sticking out 1 foot (they should be as small a tire as possible too) and the gold fender flares, how about some **** rug interior with those little frills hanging around the windows edge, and the fuzzy dice!

putting gold or any accessories on your vehicle is like an all you can drink bar, you just gotta know when to stop, before you embarass yourself.

Peace out!

i wish you guys didn't put the kibosh on the gold trim. i was preparing my black lightning for the full gold treatment (grill wheels, fender trim, fleur-de-lis emblems in place of all lightning/svt's) in honor of the least embarassing subject in new orleans.
i'm going to call it the "Ditkamobile" in honor of the soon to be "Los Angeles Saints"

MRBBQMAN - Who do you think would win in a 1/4 mile drag; Ditka on a tricycle or your Lightning and what would his ET be?

And NOW, a DynoMax Exhaust with 2 1/4" pipes and 3.5" Echo's...looks good...ask about the sound

Wink

I was going to mention the fuzzy dice also but you clowns beat me to it. Do Mucho Gold, 13" gold wire wheels is also a good suggestion, but make absolutely sure that the tires are white walls. Also, rip out the suspension while you're at it and put in the kind that can make the truck bounce up and down. (That makes the chicks HOT!) And if you do the Jesus on the dashboard, make sure he lights up. Don’t forget the musical horn and the chain stearing wheel! Have fun!

Boy, you guys don't give an inch to someone who dares to be different. After reading all the post-replies on this subject, I had to cancel all the gold and chartreuse that I had on order. Back to being black, silver and boring.

Oh, and by the way, yes I do live in Flint, Mi. for six months out of the year. The cars here are extremely interesting. Just waiting on my 20" dubs....

Hay...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy on the neon.I have a purple neon plate light on mine and you know what? My truck is the fastest at my track.People rag on me all the time for it but it does get me attention!!

1.I was at the track running 13.2s and 13.3s one night when there was a other white and two blacks running 13.8-14.2s.i get back and my girl goes on to tel me how the announcer was laughing as he told the crown how it must be the purple plate light that makes it so fast!!! I laughed.

2.I was down my local strip where everybody brings their trucks and cars. Its called Hampton Beach in N.H. Anybody in New Englangd knows about it.2 times I heard people say "hey, hey thats that truck!!"I gues being diffrent is nice.I know those boys knoew I was the one with the Bad *** svt running those awesome times. My plate BADSVT probally helps identify it too.

Personally Im doing my emblems background Grey with ford in white to match my tonneau cover but i like if people do the chrome gold.I saw it on a white Mustang and it looked great.Just enough to make it look good.Ill be posting a pic of my truck next friday upon completion.Im sure you will think it is nice.Just do the ford emblems,NO MORE !! It looks good by itself.

If you are putting 13's on it, dont forget the matching white walled Volkswagen tires, but..........if you do that, you have to re-inforce the muffler bearings!
