Custom Exhaust

Thinking about going the cheap route and letting a local exhaust shop whip me up a exhaust. Will a magnaflow muffler number 12468 work? I noticed the catback system uses the same size muffler but I don't know if this one has a x-over inside it. What muffler and tips do people go with that do a custom exhaust? Gotta go cheap!! The muffler and tips and installation will run me about 200 bucks. That is much better than 500+ for a catback with mandrel bent pipes!

Have a custom exhaust 3 inch system. A lot more money than 200 bucks.

MAC cat back was about $260 delivered to my door.

There is a local guy selling a flowmaster cat back for $150.

Let me knoe if you're interested. I was going to buy it, but I like the sound of mine.

No I don't really want flowmaster. I heard they sound bad at wot. Mac was my first option till I ran upon the magnaflow muffler and I think it is the same one they use in the catback. I can get the muffler and 2 3.5" tips and get it all put on for about 200. Should look the same and sound the same. The only difference will be the mandrel bent piping.
